Apple iPhone X review: thinks differently

iPhone X marks the biggest design change for Apple iPhone 6 on the market. With the traditional home button removed, a "cut" screen on the top and very thin edges, the iPhone X significantly changes the user experience that brand fans have become accustomed to in recent years.

As a rule, no matter how good it seems at first sight, a change is received with reluctance.

The main explanation is that after you've gotten used to a thing for years and you've practically created a tabby, it's hard to make a change to adapt to something new. Even when the change involves only the way you use your mobile phone from your pocket or purse.

During a test week, we tried to put an iPhone X user in order to better understand what's changing in the way this smartphone is used.

What we liked
iPhone X completely changes the perception of Apple due to the introduction of a completely new model with very thin edges. The design is elegant and the phone and screen have rounded corners. The front is covered with 83% of the screen, with the only exception being the upper area where there is a "cut" part. As part of the redesign process, Apple has also dropped the classic Home button, whose features have now been taken over by a series of gestures implemented in iOS and FaceID, respectively, which we will talk about later on.

The back is made of glass, which has enabled the wireless charge implementation. Personally, I appreciate the back glass phones, even if the negative effect is traces and prints.

The camera assembly was placed in the upper left corner, and the two sensors are positioned vertically, unlike the horizontal layout of the iPhone 8 / iPhone 8 Plus.

The sides were made of aluminum, which provides increased resistance. The Silent and Volume buttons are located on the left side, while the Power button is positioned to the right. The 3.5mm headphone jack is missing, but there is also a 3.5mm adapter to Lightning in the package, if you want to use headphones other than those in the package.
